Designed and animated this piece with Greg Sharp, starring vintage WWF wrestler the Iron Sheik.
I designed and directed this piece starring Reno 911’s Thomas Lennon.
thefancylad asked: Hey Ivan what program did you use to animate that Little Gary spot? I really like the bumpy line style?
Hey Fancylad. I animated Lil’ Gary in Flash (as with most of my animation) and then I used some After Effects trickery to get the bumby lines you speak of.
stefiecakes asked: I need all of Pug of War. All of it. Do you have prints? Are you doing a small zine with all the illustrations. What is Pug of War? Just a cute, flat-faced entity of pure violence?
Hi Steficakes!
Pug-of-War is a ravenous fighting machine. She defends the world from evil dogs but never throws the first punch (exceptions: nazis, dictators, monarchists). I’d love to do a zine with her. Currently I only have a handful of limited edition screen prints. Let me know if you’d like one!
I wanted to do a show about relationships and sexual fetishes. It’s about a body building duck called Muscles McQuack, his girlfriend Sally who works in a sex shop, his buddy Science Pete who does nothing with his science degree because his parents died and he inherited their house and Peli-can-do who works at a take away place.
Had to draw something to celebrate our good buddy Gotye cleaning up at the Grammys. Great job Wally!
hand-painted M&M badges available at the melbourne zine fair on sunday. think of them as tiny framed artworks (and pay more for them than regular badges). fashionable. real fake gold. (hand drawn t-shirts also available on the day. child’s sizes only.)
I bought the one of the Owl at the top with the neutral expression. I can’t stress how much I love this guy’s work.
Imagine if you could censor the real world.

THE LEGOLAS AND GIMLI SHOW. After rewatching the Lord of the Rings trilogy I started thinking about how an animated spin-off series which followed the continued adventures of Legolas and Gimli. According to the book they went on to share many quests together. In the end they were such great friends that Gimli was even able to follow the elves to The Undying Lands. I figured the show would feature them thwarting small pockets of evil that are struggling to exist post-Sauron, such as rogue trolls, dispirited goblin hordes, lone witchlords etc. The banter between the odd couple would provide most of the comedy and it would be great to show more depth to the characters, particularly Gimli, who became pretty one dimensional in the second and third films, in my opinion.
Just realised we never posted our finished music video for Queensland band Tijuana Cartel’s track “Snappy.”

Here’s the latest music video I co-directed.
On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
Five golden rings!
Four Colly birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
and a partridge in a pear tree.

I’ve taken part in a special Christmas collaboration titled “12 Days of GIFmas.” Animators were each given one line from the classic Christmas song. I landed on “Five Golden Rings.” Take that naughty kids!
